These are companies which offer marketing, manufacturing or other services outside our area of expertise.
This page only includes companies that we have either used first hand or one of our employees knows well.
We believe in transparency and therefore for every business resource listed below we’ll include exactly when we used it so you can see we are promoting people we know well and not just people we have heard of.
We’ve worked with Avitmedia in the Summer of 2020 to produce our new photos. Take a look around our website, particularly our homepage banner to see their work.
They also offer videography which we have not yet used directly however we have found Avitmedia to be very helpful in discussions.
Regarding photography Avitmedia, often abbreviated to AvIt helped arrange two separate photography days which was really convenient for us; to help maintain social distancing during the pandemic. They also provided some excellent photo editing so we could protect the confidentiality of our customer’s work.

The East Midlands Chamber is packed full of resources and advice to help businesses grow in our region.
They have a whole host of events to help business on everything from marketing to finance to branding.
Their members now has over 4,300 businesses including start-ups, SMEs and multi-national organisations. – “The Chamber is renowned across the region for enhancing Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire businesses and communities”
Ignys are active members of the East Midlands Chamber.

Instant Messaging at work – Slack
This platform is a very useful way of keeping your team connected especially for a large organisation or for working from home.
By using the instant messaging feature you can use it to ask a colleague a quick question without them having to wait for them to find it in their sea of emails.
You can also use it for department groups such as management teams to keep conversations private.
It can also work as a tool for lone working if people are staying in the office alone, they can check in with colleagues on a regular basis.
This tool can help your department stay more connected and help with the onboarding process for new employees by helping them get to know the team.
There is no replacement for talking in the office but speaking over slack can help your team build one to one and team relationships, that they are missing out on by working from home, or connect with colleagues in other towns. At Ignys we use Slack to help us including having a #wins and #rants channel to share our joys and woes over the course of a working day!
